fergie to 20 cooling fix

aquired a to 20 a couple years ago that was field ready according to the prev owner. after throwing about 2 grand or better, at the lil fergie i got er going. brush hogging in hot weather the tractor runs hot because the rad shroud is missing. tried to find one with no luck, was going to fab up one but looking thru my assorted junk i found a chrysler cooling fan that just fits perfect within the radiator. will mount with some foam insulation and a couple pieces of pipe hangar galv strapping not stock, but it will work!

I assume the tractor has been converted to 12 volt and has a big enough alternator to run that fan? A fan like that must draw a few amps, good thing is it doesn't draw any until it warms up. Where will you put the temperature sensor to start/stop the fan?

Those spal fans will be good. Can just run it to a rocker switch as well.

its12 volt 10 si alternator. im just going to run a rocker switch and turn the fan on as needed.
