Snowblower on a compact utility tractor -- how much snow?

I currently move snow with an IH-80 snowblower and a JD (gas) 3020. My brother has a JD 790 which he is quite fond of, but it seems really small to me. Whenever I hear claims of how awesome these little tractors are on snow (or look at a Youtube), they are talking a couple of [i:654c4848f0]inches[/i:654c4848f0] of snow.

How do they do with a foot or foot and a half-of snow? I'm assuming somebody makes a Cat I snowblower (front would obviously be ideal). How do they work in South Dakota snows?

The 3020 is too big for most of the small things I do (use a smaller Ford 961 for mowing), and I'm wondering what a 35-40 hp (gotta be bigger than brothers!) CUT would do with the snow other than require a few more passes down the driveway? I hate to buy new Cat I implements for everything but would have to sell the 3020.

(I tried to post this on "Today's Tractors", but it doesn't work for me)

No reason they don't work, just use a smaller blower and often the hydrostatic trans in CUT makes up for any size issues. Easy to move snow when you have full PTO HP & RPM and can go any speed you want.
