Turn the paint

Cap over. Field tested. Works great. Every time my elbow bumped out made a sound but PTO didn't shutoff.

We have a CNC router that has an emergency stop button located where people lean toward the machine (why they lean is interesting, but students want to see, and it has an 8 foot Y axis). I used a PVC pipe fitting flange/reducer that fit the diameter, and was 1/2" or so above button height. I used double sticky wall mount foam tape to hold it to the background surface. It is pretty ridged and still allows clean access to emergency stop. Just kinda orange neck. Jim

Sometimes when you're dealt lemons you need to learn how to make lemonade.
No tractor is perfect. I've made modification to all my tractors.

Those buttons are a standard DIN size, you can get those guards online.

I agree, bone head place to put switch.

So you had to turn it over to get it to work ?
Sure looks like an unhandy spot to reach to even turn it on too.

The problem was the thickness of the paint cap wouldn't permit me to push down and turn the knob. Didn't feel like working on the knob.
This works best. Sure beats finding mower was turned off when I made second pass.
I can live with this charge.
