I bought 3 of those to replace the fixture in my attached garage. I go the first 2 hung and when I plugged in the third one it popped real loud and let the smoke out. I will return it when things get back to normal. I have been using there 5600L for years with out any problems.

I have over a dozen RK leds. No popping, no smoking, love them.

Bought 7 yesterday

Going to put 2 each over my 2 work benches.

Thought I'd use 3 of them in my 120 year old barn. But now 4520bw and his experience of letting the smoke out has made me nervous.
I'll have to cycle power on them several times before hanging them.

I used several of the small one then went and got four of the $55.00 ones now that is some real light. Not sure what the ratting is but sure do light up things. I have two of the small ones I hung over my drill press 4 years ago and have never pulled the switch and they are still working fine.

I have had one of the 5600 lumes in our old pin frame barn for years with no trouble. I also put 10 in our shop and had one go bad over the years. The 5000 lumes I put in my garage poped when I pulled the switch. It was right in my ear as I was on the ladder. O suggest plugging them in before u put em up
