alternater for farmall b

I need to replace a 6 volt gen. with a 1 wire 12 volt alt. the previous owner put a home made loader on it
space may be a prob. the hyd. pump is right by the gen. i have done a H and a M with the gm. alt.so I know
how to do it but may need a smaller alt.btw. he did a nice job on the loader.

$43 and up.

Typically, Hitachi or Nippendenso "clones".

Hitachi number is 14231. S terminal is Delco #2 and L terminal is Delcl #1. Nippondenso # 100211-141

Just fabricated a bracket today for that very alternator to be on my Isuzu diesel powered swather. Neat little alternator. Put one on the JD "M" earlier in the week, didn't have to adapt anything, mount wise, bolted right in.
