Ford engine indentification

I have an old wood chipper with a Gas Ford motor. Trying to figure out what it is so that can get parts for the carburetor and spec's to get it running again.
It's Cast number is D2NL-6015 four cylinder.
I'm unable to find any other stamped numbers anywhere else on it.
Any help is appreciated.

Not a lot to go on...

Is this an inline 4 cylinder? Flat head or OHV? Inline 6? V8?

What type carb? A downdraft mounted on top, possibly an Autolite?

An updraft mounted off to the side under the manifold?

Look carefully at the carb, there will be a manufacturers name and probably a tag with a number.

Once you've posted a couple times, they will allow pictures. That would help a bunch!

Apparently, it's an "Industrial 172".

As always, GOOGLE the number you have for all sorts of further info.

As to the carb, it should have it's own tag, or at least some numbers stamped into it.

Got a photo or two?

This carburetor is Mounted under neither the intake manifold.
The portion that bolts to the manifold is stamped A357 the butterfly is stamped 15.
I also found a Stamp on the bowl portion very terribly stamped with B431133 almost looks scrambled.
On the bottom of the bolt is a cast number 10B2 and closer to the intake neck is another number 6 underscore G
This thing has no tag what so ever on it though.
Kinda looks like an 8N carburetor only bigger. Only because I bought an 8N crab kit at Tractor supply thinking that this would work, do I know this.

That should've read carburetor underneath intake manifold.

OK, so it's an updraft carburetor.

Most common makes you'd likely find on an older industrial are probably M/S (Marvel Schebler), Zenith,Bendix, or even Holley (since this is a Ford engine).

Typically, the name is cast or stamped somehwere on the carb, which would at least narrow it down.

A couple of photos would sure help to I.D. it!

(quoted from post at 13:41:59 03/17/20) So, I finally figured out how to add photos hopefully this will help.
Thanks in advance.

Appears similar to a Marvel Schebler TSX 977.

Marvel kits typically fit quite a number of carbs, you might get lucky and find that a kit for a TSX 977 fits yours.

Here's a couple of phone numbers you could try with the info you have:
