Mt. Rushmore / Custer tractor tour

Does anyone have any information or contact details regarding the tractor tour that travels the Mt. Rushmore/Custer State Park/black hills area in South Dakota? I think they are a tractor club from Iowa but could be mistaken. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry I can't offer anything about tractor tours, but I will take this opportunity to plug "Above and Beyond" tours. I was impressed with Karen's knowledge of local lore.

I believe Red Power Round Up is up there this year. But maybe you are talking about a tractor drive? Mark.

TRI-State OLD Iron Club from Yankton SD goes there every other year and it is a great time .The last time I went which was about 5 years ago I drove a 3020. Park service escorted us and parked us in a reserved section of the lot at MT Rushmore and the funny thing is that we had tourists come up to us asking what kind of a protest we were doing. One fellow jokingly said the protest was of putting President external_link up on Mt Rushmore. I think some may have believed it. But its just for fun. No better scenery than seeing the Black Hills from a tractor seat. Contact Donna 605-665-9785

The Red Power Roundup is meeting in Huron South Dakota, that about 165 miles from Mt Rushmore. But you want to drive it go for it!

It is put on by a group from Iowa. I have attended in the past. Drive is held in the even years with a 100 tractor limit those attending previous drive get right to sign up then if not filled by deadline open to those next in line. In 2018 did not reach 100 tractor limit. Now the problem those organizing previously have retired and either will not share or do not know what this year may bring. I usually have registration form by now but have not seen one nor has a friend I visit with gotten his.

Was not a club but three couples only had two phone numbers one does not work other person said she was done and did not want to talk about the drive. That leaves me a dead end unless new people have taken over.
