The Japanese magnolia are in full bloom around here also.
Little to chilly for the gators to be out but I did see a garter snake laying in the road about a week ago trying to get some warmth from the blacktop.

I've traveled to all parts of FL I would not live there for love nor money. To hot and humid in the southern part in the winter and to cold for being in the south on the northern part. I've been down 27 from the villages to Belle Glade over to the East side one of the beaches. Down 95 from Jacksonville to Miami Beach across gator alley to Naples and up 75 to GA across 10 from Tallahassee to Jacksonville. Nothing there for me.
I'll stay north of I-80 given a choice.

I just come down and rent for Jan.,Feb., and March to avoid the worst of the MI winter. Have never seen an Iguana here. I think they are further south for the most part. See the gators every time I go for a bike ride. Only seen one small one when out fishing in four years.
