We met our son(from Albuquerque) for lunch today in Ridgeway(CO). It's about 50 miles south of us.Ate at the True Grit Caf?. Awesome meal!All kinds of JohnWayne memorabilia is on the walls.Drove by the railroad museum too.they have an original 'Galloping Goose'.Need to go back next summer when the museum is open and the 'Goose' is running.
 
Sounds like a good trip and even better because you got to spend time with your Son.
 
I like Ridgeway, been through there many times, just never stopped for lunch. Will have to make note of the cafe and try it. Is it on the highway or downtown.
 
Been through there a few times, our oldest and family live in GJ. I used to have your number and thought about stopping by but it hasn't happened. Our youngest and family are in Boulder so when we are out that way now it is to see kids and grandkids.
 
That?s funny, when we go through with the dogs we walk them at the park never noticed the cafe. Always stop at the second hand store down the street. Jo is always looking for a bargain.
