Clutch kit question

I just receive my clutch kit from yesterday tractor and the forks are complete pushed in with these red plastic spaces in front of the forks. Do I need to take them out before I replace the part. Never had these plastic spaces before

Those are there to hold the springs partially compressed.

That makes getting the pressure plate bolts started easier, gives you a chance to position the clutch disc before tightening the plate down fully.

But the most important reason is to prevent warping the pressure plate as it's being tightened down. Always work your way around the pressure plate snugging each bolt to slowly and evenly pull the plate cover down before the final tightening. Don't let the spacers fall inside the cover!
