Calling all you old Ford guys, neighbor brought me this hydraulic pump. It is pto powered from the
rear of a 8n ford that has what he call a Dearborne snow blade. Pump is leaking from the input
shaft end. Remove all the housing bolts but nothing loosened up. Am I going to have to press that
shaft thru the drive housing. I see no snap-ring or anything but I am hesitant to go to pressing
on this thing. Doubt that would be easy to replace.

Looks like a Cessna pump. There is still 4 cap screws it. Mounting flange weldment needs to be removed. There is numbers somewhere on flange proabaly on bottom.

Sure looks like a Cessna pump. There are 3 basic parts to the pump plus the base mount. The pump is held together by dowel pins. Try to remove the base first and then split the pump into the front and rear end plates and then the center section. Number one cause of leaking front seal is internal wear in the pump. Thanks to both of you, I have the cap screws removed and as you say may just be the dowels holding it but so far no slack, guess we will work on it some more.
