I am thinking to pull the clipper out, get it running and combine some oats this summer.

At 6' per cut, maybe just a couple acres.

Is that a pull-type or SP Clipper? My Dad had one of each. Seemed the pull-type was more reliable.

Hopefully it is a pull type Clipper. I set a wheat field on fire with a SP Clipper.

Thinking back again, the Clipper combine was pretty reliable, but the Wisconsin engine could be hard to get running after sitting all winter. Probably a little more care winterizing it would have helped, especially lube to prevent sticking valves.
