For my Cummins friends

Thats interesting, David. I really believe Cummins is at the forefront of emissions technology, although I may be biased. (i'm a field service mechanic for Cummins)

I would agree with your statements, look how long they avoided DEF DPF and met emissions.

Yes, and the EGR, aftertreatment system and DEF systems are getting more and more reliable as technology progresses. I heard stage 5, at least on my industrial side, will do away with EGR. My high horsepower (K series) engines have never had EGR.
Do you work for Cummins?

I do not work for Cummins and drive a Ford, I just like how they drive better than the Ram.

I work on large natural gas compressor controls for a living.

Sounds interesting, I am mostly an industrial diesel mechanic, that is I try to not work on anything with a license plate :), I have been blessed in my career, we do a lot of marine work with river tug boats, a lot of crane repair, etc.
Of course we are a Cummins distributor, but we work on some Detroit Diesel two and four strokes, Voith automatic transmissions, MTU 2000 series engines, and a few EMD locomotive engines in boats. Never a dull moment.

Sure is interesting. I have seen prototypes but did not know they had released it. Been working in test for cummins for 24 years.
