This is in a Gehl skid steer. Having trouble with glo plugs not working-light at dash does not come on. Your Experiences, testing ?? Have trouble posting on skid loader forum. Thanks for the help.

Pretty straight forward, power to the switch, then to the glow plug relay, then to the glow plugs. Start at the switch and work down if you know the plugs are good. Just have to get power to them.

If all your elec. things are working then You need to check the glow plug -- to do so check for continuity from the top of the glow plug to the base -- no continuity no glow plug -- remove the wire off of the glow plug to check it! Roy

Take a test light and see if voltage is getting to the glow plugs. Pull the glow plug wires off and check each one holding the switch in the glow plug heat position. The glow plugs should be warm to the touch after being on for 30 seconds up to a minute when working. You can also check the glow plugs by hooking the test light clamp end to the positive hot wire at the battery or starter then touch the point end of the tester to the top of the glow plug with the wire removed. If the test light comes on the glow plug is grounded out and needs to be replaced.
