I was mowing today in very thick green bottom land grass. One of the few places in my area with green grass. Every thing else is dried up. I was noticing the grass was not cutting very good. I would double back and take another cut in some areas. The problem was the belts were slipping on the extra heavy spots. It wasn't until I started seeing smoke, as my belts were being ruined, did I realize the problem. Twenty minutes later I was on my way with a new set of belts. I should have checked the belt tension, after an hour or so. I knew better also. The same thing happened last year on that same field. How quick we forget sometimes. No excuse sir. Stan
