7520 value??

Neighbor has a 7520 that runs good with the big single tires. Been setting about 3 years with the clutch out. He took it to a dealer but could not see paying what they quoted him to fix it. Its still in one piece. It has sat behind there building since. It hasnt seen a shed for the last 15 years. Paint is starting to look its age. Tires are nice. 3pt with pto. Any idea of it value??

Not sought out as a work tractor and limited collector appeal. A fair amount of shop time therefore labor bill for the clutch so I would think that 4,000 dollars the way it sits is enough.

Sorry I wasn't thinking. I am very out dated so when I think of a 7520 only one comes to mind. In fact I am so old I remember when a 7520 seemed like a giant. Also sorry,Didnt know a Mahindra was even an option. It is a JD 7520 wiggler. Al

Looked at a couple of machinery sites- running 7520's are priced from 10,000 to 15,000, with one "outlier" at $34,000.

I would not look at Tractor House for a price. Auction Time shows 7-10K for running with no major known issues 7520 articulated tractors. Tim S down on the JD board would know best but probably 30 hours to tear down and re-assemble for a clutch. So 100 dollars per hour at a dealer or major independent shop means 3,000 dollars in labor. It would have to be a fairly good 7520 with a long known history for me to think about spending 10,000 dollars on one.

NY 986, I think that tractor house is a good place for researching tractor values simply because there are a lot to compare. Just toss out any way high and way lows and multiply the average by .75.

A buddy of mine bought one out of Colorado last year. Running working tractor with duals, PTO and 3 point for $5,500. It's original and missing a few pieces of sheet metal but the main ones are there. I see a lot of them priced higher than that though. Not sure they ever sell at those higher prices though.

the last one i bought was 2300, duals, 3pt, pto, rubber was iffy, the one before that i was in around 1600....seems like since then the market has gone up in the last year....bought were on site auction buys. i would buy another one or a 7020 if i could
