I?m starting to seed down more land and run more cattle the older I get. I have a pretty nice JD 750 no till drill I use for wheat but no seed attachment for it. How hard would it be to find a seeder attachment to put on my 750?

If you cant get it low nuff seedvrate ,you can do some figuring and mix wheat or oats with grass seed.helps establish a stand better with wheat or oats as a cover

The grass seed attachment for a 750 is no longer available as a kit from Deere. You CAN buy all the original pieces and build one, but it is $$.
I seed about 120-130 acres of alfalfa with my 750 each year. I had an older 10 foot with the grass seed, but bought a newer 15 foot one without grass seed, and instead of putting on the grass seed attachment, I bought some half speed gears instead. With those, and with the big box set on 7, I can drop 15 lb to the acre very consistently. I also installed a scale, so I can tell it is pretty accurate.

I like using the big box for alfalfa, because you can put in a lot at one time, and not have to refill every few acres like you do with the grass seed attachment. The whole set up is a very effective way to seed alfalfa and other small seeded crops.

I got lucky and found out there was one in a barn that the guy took of when he traded for a new drill and never put it on and it was free. I would think there are some in junk yards.
I have been planting teft and pearl millet in my ground it was too wet to plant this spring.
