JD 4020 LPG

I have a 66 model 4020 LPG. Tractor runs fine until you stop and let tractor idle for 5-10 minutes then it is slow to power up again and sometimes it will gradually just stall out. Tractor has electronic ignition and is firing fine. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I would suggest running it on vapor unless it is heavily loaded and your converter (probably a Century) may need a new kit installed. When I had issues I opened up the converter and black gooey tar was all puddled up inside. A new rebuild kit for the converter and a clean carb fixed it right up.

That black gooey tar, you talk about is the impurity's from the oil well that didn't get taken out in the refining process.
