So yesterday I broke the bar on the A-16 sickle bar mower. So I put in the spare bar I had fixed last year and I was almost done with what I wanted to get mowed and the spare broke. So I guess this afternoon I will be welding 2 bars back together plus I think since I have the parts I'll make a 3rd bar. I'll probably make the 3rd bar before I even try to fix the other 2 since it will not have a weld and the other 2 will have to be welded.
I did jump up a deer while I was mowing and if it had not jumped up I would not have known it was even there.
I think the reason I have had trouble this year is all the rain we have had has made the hay a whole lot ticker then a normal year. Some of the grass is very thick and tall and the same with the clovers
