Bomgarrs has 4 pound 24d on sale right now last year they had 6 pound but don?t stock it this spring I?m going to kill some more sagebrush and some other weeds In range ground . I used some of this earlier on my triticale and it did an excellent job of cleaning up the weeds .

How much 2-4D per acre do you use on sage? Do you add a surfactant?

I use 1/4 pint per acre 2.4D and 6 ounces of Rifle to kill all broadleaf weeds in small grain....Rifle is the generic old Banvel.

4 pound of 24d label calls four pints to the acre . 6
pound calls for 3 pints so you have to price shop .
Right now even with the higher rate of 4 pound it
still costs way less than half of 6 pound . I have not
used a surfactant in the past

SV, 4 pints of 4 Lb. 2,4-D is 2 pounds active ingredient. The same active ingredient in 6 Lb. material is 2.67 pints not 3 pints as that is 2.25 pounds A.I. Just an FYI.
