First equipment on the land yesterday

Seen a couple of fertilizer spreaders and someone with a no till drill out yesterday on the higher dryer ground in Bruce County .
Down in Huron County the land is lighter and the climate a few growing days longer . About 1 in 20 farms had equipment on the land .
Then of course a thunderstorm rolled through last night and everything is saturated again .

So. central Mn. Rain in forcast for 10 of next 14 days. I've got about 1/4 of my corn planted. I think it's going to get quite late for the rest of it.

Most of the wheat here got fertilized or sprayed out depending on the crop. A few
guys patching up wheat fields and no tilling spring wheat on fields that were to go
into wheat last fall. We missed the thunderstorm yesterday....Might try to plant
the corn test plot tomorrow, Saturday, on the conventional tilled ground. Any of
the heavier ground closer to the lake is too wet still.
