Hey guys newbie here I have a Massey Ferguson 35 injector pump
is leaking top and bottom can I remove old pump matchup ID
numbers and replace it with a new or remanufactured without getting
into timing marks on the crank or the timing gear.
Or is there someone I can clean it up and ship it to do rebuild it for
me greatly appreciate your help thanks

Awesome that would be great when I pull the pump off do I have to worry about lining any timing marks up crank, timing gear etc. or can I just take a chisel and mark on the bracket. Thanks for your help sir.

Better call Al. Or someone. Marks need lined up inside little plate with two screws. Which will line up your engine timing marks.

I would talk with Dieseltech or Al. Before you remove it. Some need to be timed some don't. I have had too many where the customer pulled the pump. To save me time. Ended up a mess and didn't save me time.

Not on that pump, his is the CAV DPA, has a scribe line on the pump flange ear, and on the timing cover. That pump can be removed/replaced without timing as there's a dowel in the gear that enters the pump drive hub slot for correct timing. Gear stays in engine, just remove the three bolts through the gear that thread into pump hub. Pump then pulls out the rear after other lines and linkage are removed.

You might want to price a new one before you try buying a new one, they are pricy. I have had Dieseltech do some for me and he does an outstanding job on them. Just my thoughts, you do as you wish. Keith

Yes thank you for your insight I appreciate it biggest concern I have is what Marks or if any I should be worried about before pulling off the pump other than market the bracket
thanks for your help
