Camshaft issue and need new one any help?

Am looking for a camshaft for
international Mccormick la, lb engine 1.5
to 2.5 hp. Mine has damaged lobes. It
would be cheaper to find a used one then
rebuild or machine one. Am going to start
calling antique engine outfits today.

Hit N Miss Enterprises has a LOT of that stuff. I have an LB too. Looking for a decent picture of the throttle linkage - doesn't work.

Ordered one today not from them. Get the book the linkage goes from governor through block to butterfly in head. Throttle lever controls governor.

Last time I ran it, it was smooth as silk, but very fast. A minute after I was leaning over it the crank handle flew off, took out 2 panels of aluminum soffit and put a 1/2' dent in a roof truss. It bent the solid steel handle 5/16" pin 90 degrees. Problem I thought.
