I got that disc bearing from Cards today. It was $15 cheaper than Shoup. I didn't get the half spacers though. He found some for a White offset disc that had an inch and a half square shaft, but the price was $160 each. I might have to end up going that way,but for that much,I'll spend a little more time looking. I sure wish Honest John Stamm was still in business. They probably would have had some used ones kicking around.

But there's a difference in quality,i remember i got some from Osmundson's, that i thought were going to be good,i did just the ends of the field, where we had started combing, just 20 minutes time they were dull, wont buy nothing but original equipment when it comes to plow shares, or disk blades !! That's been my experience!

Unfortunately OEM isn't available anymore for a Bush hog disc unless you can find NOS.

There's three words in your post that I never thought I'd see together.Ill let you guess which three.Had me rolling on the floor.

Honest John? LOL

I heard a couple of other jockeys calling him that one day, thought it was funny.

I miss Stamm myself. I wish I'd known they was going out I'd have cleaned them out of Kewanee parts.

I put an outside gang end, the one that goes under the nut, for a JD disk on my Bush Hog.

Hey! I did get those rolls of tile at Klackle. No deal really until you include the fittings that came with. I've laid 750ft now. My machine, I found out doesn't do well in wet ground. What I did today I had to put the MF175 on the front and let it spin in 1st @ idle to get out of the mud.

Wopuld that have been Stamm at Wayland? I was up there years ago and had parts shipped. Later everything was gone. Had a friend that could set in his yard and hear the auction across the big highway. Friend and his wife must have died as we lost track of them and last time up the buildings mostly were gone and different name on mailbox.

How far are you from Wayland? Was heading there on honeymoon and got to 20 miles south of town when first blizard of 78 started. Did not know any bad weater was comming untill started seeing the salt trucks comming south on other side of 4 lane and that quick roads turned icy. Turned around and finally made it home. Did not know untill way later we were within 20 miles of our destination.
