Hello all! been a while since I have posted, but have always been reading. Working two jobs, maintaining the crazy snowfalls we have had this year in Minnesota, and tending to a pregnant wife.... I have been busy. Speaking of pregnant. Wife went into labor on Friday at noon. She spent 36 hours laboring, ended up with an emergency C-section and nearly died on the table after losing WAY too much blood. Almost lost her right there before my eyes, but the miracle workers and doctors kept her going... I thought I was strong, boy. Nothing compared to her. Still very sore, and very swollen. Today is our first day home..

I'd like you all to meet baby Raelyn Grace. Born 3-23-19, at 22:38. She weighed in at a whopping 8 lbs, 12 oz and measured 20.5". Baby and momma are happy and healthy... And finally home.

Dad on the other hand... Well, I am just trying to keep my head above water!

Congratulations !
Sounds like your wife mainly, and you ( possible baby too )had a ruff go of it. Glad all is good. Be even tougher being a single parent. Very glad they got the wife fixed up.

After all you went through can you believe so many people (and there are many) still want to do an at home birth !

Wow, what a rough start for that little gal! I hope mom, baby, and yourself are all doing great now! Congratulations on your family addition!

She's beautiful - and look at that head of hair!

Congratulations Daddy and Mama! Enjoy every single second (even fussy moments),
as she will be all grown up in the blink of an eye... and I'm not kidding - time goes by so fast.

So glad your wife is OK - sent prayers that she will be feeling better real soon.

And I believe she will be your next gen tractor fanatic.

My Dad couldn't keep me away from the shop or the barns... I just stuck to him like an annoying little burdock burr, that he couldn't shake off. LOL

WoW she was a stubborn one. Look out Pa, I bet that is just the beginning of a real "Tom Girl" HeHe.
Our last son was born at home. The wifey woke up about 2:00am and said it was time, She was wright. 15 min. later before we could even get to the car to head for the hospital, we had a new born laying in the bed with MaMa, What an experience. {What do we do now!!!!}
He is now 6'3 and 48 years old.
Make the best of your time with both your wife and your new daughter.
Time flashes by with the wink of an eye.

Congrats, enjoy, it goes by fast, my daughter was 4.5lbs when we brought her home in 2011, today she is 50 lbs and will be 8 years old soon. When I have her, she sticks to me like glue, dosent matter what I want to do, she's right there with me, changing oil on something, stacking wood, feeding the baby chicks, making a pizza, ect, she's right there with me! You will love it!!!

Just want to say THANK YOU to all for your prayers, best wishes, and congratulations (with a new baby I don't have time to reply to everyone individually)... BUT, since I have been posting on this forum for 21 years now (my first post made when I was 12 years old in 1998)... I knew this would be one of the first places we announced our first child being born. Like one big family being part of this site... Hopefully it won't be too long before we start doing a little tractoring again... Just got to get our feet back under us first.

Here is to parenthood, everyone! [Cheers].
