Looking at Replacement Swather

Looking for a backup in case the JD 3340 would go down on me this season. Been working on a replacement.

My farrier is rebuilding this IHC #9 for me. I'm afraid he is going to make it too nice to use...lol. We will actually use it for play, with the Percherons. They need to work a little for their grub. It will have a 6' bar on it, and every bearing and seal will have been replaced. New sections and guards. It's amazing the almost all of the parts can be purchased at Case/IH.

Haven't done that in a long time. Once upon a time I pulled a hay wagon full of people around for a local attraction. Both my daughters can drive also. I suspect when they get some money saved they are going to want to keep a team. The JD swather looks nice too. I have a MF...no cab. Like a giant ZTR.
 
Windrower looks nice, not all beat up like most. Especially the platform, reel and knockdown bar as they are usually rough.
 
Cutting some late 4th crop with a MCD #9. Same mower but without the rubber tires and red paint. Your mower looks good.
