Some old ford tractors

Strangely enough, I watched that video last night.... Cage wheels were common when I was a kid in the UK. They went out of fashion some time in the eighties.

I drilled into some ground like that this fall it was so dry when I Plowed it. there was a lot of moisture right at seed depth the cultivator helped bring the moisture up so the seed could lay in it and the drill press wheels do a good job of packing the seed

Yeah somewhat, also help with traction, not really sure why they were so popular back in the day. I remember my uncle using a set when working land especially for grass seeding.

Looks they would be light and easy to take off and put on maybe that?s why easy to meet width restrictions ?

Yeah they were light, made by a company called bettison I think. Don't remember width being an issue back in the day, but I was young then, remember my uncle traveling on the road with them.

I will it? all germinated really looked good as long as it doesn?t winter kill. Turning into the same winter we had last year so I guess we?ll see
