The old joke years ago was--Why don't farmers wear tennis shoes?--Because seed corn companies don't give them away. But my Pioneer man had a pair that had the Pioneer logo on them.---TEE

I think they're to expensive even if they are free. Do seed companies even give things away anymore? I'm such a small operation they don't waste their time giving me freebies.

I had always heard the joke was farmers in Kentucky did not wear them because there's no place to put the sheep's legs.

Thems the kinda shoes you wanna wear into the feed lot, get good and completely covered in manure. You'd rather have people think you wear poo for shoes than you'd wear something that said Oliver.......

I don't care how bad or good they look. I will never wear those type shoes. They are way too hot in summer and freezing cold once summer is over. I see people wearing them in winter and just shake my head. ITs a long time since I wore them but I remember it was like standing in a pail of ice water for me.

Had several pair of Red Ball Jet tennis shoes when I was a kid. $2 each if I remember right. Anyone else have those?

Rusty ..... I'm curious what you mean by "those type shoes" .... so running shoes or sneakers or whatever you might call them? Just the shoes right, nothing to do with the logos on them?

I was not sure what you called them, runners, track shoes, sneakers, trainers, but it is the type of material. Not whats on the outside. If they were comfortable I would not care much about whose name is on them.
