I was ready to go but had to back out at the last minute. Nephew and his wife came in from KS with their new baby (first one) (I got him a toy tractor). Needless to say I'm not speaking to that nephew ever again!

Wife is mad at me too. I ask her what the big deal is? It's a baby, women been having them sense man walked on the earth! No need for me to miss that auction........and he's only 3 weeks old. that means all he does is eat, sleep and fill diapers........

Rick?

Looks like several sold for less than the value of the tires. Overall, the Cubs seemed to fare the best.

That's too bad they are all trying to make you feel bad about not dropping everything going gaga over them all day. You got the baby a toy and probably made a nice comment about him, and they should be thankful for that and not so self centered. You didn't do anything wrong.

OH I ain't really mad about. Family has to come first. Sister in law is pretty excited. First grand kid for her. She's 59. And even her baby brother (mid 40's) has been a grandpa for a while.

(quoted from post at 09:02:27 09/24/18) Those prices might be closer to the new averages.

Yea, that's kinda what I was thinking. Been like this for a couple of years here on the collector tractors. Watched a nicely restored IH 666 hydro sell about 10 years ago. Brought 11K. Sold again about 5 years ago.......the got 10 for it and the auctioneer worked the crowd pretty good to even get 10.
