I have a 30 but tag on engine says serial no is 1401. Cyl blk no is 1750339M91. Continental Motors Corp. I need direction on how to find out details.

I believe the only engine offered in that model was a Continental Z129.

One way to tell if it is the 20 engine or a 30 engine is the 20 has the oil filter in the oil pan, the 30 has it on the side of the engine.

I had a TO 30 but there was nothing on hood to identify it as that as the hood will interchange with the TO 20 and the full model of your tractor is TO 30 as the TO stands for tractor overseas, TheFE?30 is for the 30 sold east of the alantic ochen. So you need the full TO 30 number when looking for parts as without that you might get parts for the England sold tractor that is different and parts will not always fit.

Look just below your steering wheel there
will be a tag saying whether it's a to 20
or a to30 and also the serial number will
be there also

When I had mine I don't remember any letters there, just numbers, might have been but that was back in 67-69 range so memory gets fuzzy. And at that time there was no place to get serial numbers for years. Just was told it was a TO30 and when I had engine overhauled that was the parts needed.
