Fun day on the Ford

Spent the day at a friend's farm. Tedding hay and raking. He baled. His old Ford has hydraulics, mine doesn't, so he got tedder ready and I hooked it up and got one field done. I know my alternator is bad so I charge up the battery and good to go, but I forgot and the poor ol' 960 died. Hooked Dave's back up and finished 2nd field. After lunch I pulled the rake with his little Allis Chalmers. He baled with his New Holland. Hasn't rained in several days. No rain in forecast ,highs in mid 90's. Folks cutting hay all over Central AL. Sorry about picture quality, they are screenshots from video...

I just came in from raking hay. Used my Case VAC. It is a hot humid day here today and plan to bale it latter this afternoon

A week ago I jumped on a good forecast. Thursday through Monday predicting sun and low humidity. Thursday the sun never came out. Friday turned off foggy all morning and cloudy in the PM. Saturday fog until 9:30, I started tedding at 11:00 raked some out of the shade in the evening. Sunday I started tedding at 10.00, then raking, then baled the dryer ground that was not shaded. Monday started turning windrows at 10:30, then baling then some more tedding, then some more raking then some more baling. by six some went into the shade and it is out there still, but very clean now. I got 95% of it, around 400 bales.
