Optical illusion

I posted the top picture earlier and had comments about the duals being way too big for the Allis and one dual being larger than the other. The duals are matched Firestone?s 14.9 x 26 and the tires on the tractor are a matched pair of Co-Op 14.9 x 26. The ground is a little uneven where the second picture was taken which is why they don?t perfectly line up.

In the first picture the duals look much bigger because they are at least 10ft closer to the camera than the tractor is.

I had 16.9-28s on a D17...parked them for years after buying them in 1972 when I started farming...bought them for $100. Bought a Gleaner Model F in 1979? Perfect match to a wider 26 inch tire in a later wet corn year. Bought a Ford 4500TLB about 10 years ago...perfect match for the TLB!
