Cold cloudy and wet all morning but as if by magic, the clouds suddenly blew away giving us some sun finally. Took the drone up for a few quick pictures of the yard as the sun might not last long according to the forecast.

What a beautiful picture. There would still be some that claim the world is flat despite your photo evidence to the contrary.
Oh well, that's OK, everyone is entitled to their opinion I guess.

Based on shadows, I think this is looking west or north. Probably not the 100 acre wood? And the threshing machine is still on lookout duty!

Many memorable photos from you. Thanks.

Diffferent topic. On your video of the car show at Dysart, I got a glimpse of someone with engineer boots - the kind that railroad engineers wear. An uncle introduced me to those kind of boots as a teenager and I wore them alot until I went off to the military at age 20. Haven't seen them around since.

Yes, my old friend Don likes his engineer boots. You are right that the drone photo is looking West about 1:30 pm. Only stubble visible in the fields as the crops are harvested. My canola swaths are just out of the frame to the lower left and they will need some drying time from the recent rains.

(quoted from post at 15:50:02 09/17/18) Saskatchewan- where you can watch your dog run away for 2 days.
There is a popular myth that Sask. is all flat. And in the South there is a lot of flat country, but not around here. Its all rolling parkland. I've tipped over enough loads of bales on hillsides to know better. Used to be a lot of barns were built into the hillsides with an entrance on the low side for ground level. Back side of the barn you could drive in the hayloft. This one my great uncle Jack had built was into a slight hillside in his yard.

We had blue skies here this morning and 41 degrees, it actually felt nice. Brush hogged all day, thin clouds moved in making for a comfortable day with a high of 67.
