I have always want one of those not because I need one but because they where built in the town I was born in

They're a cute little tractor, that loader kind of spoils that, unless it's factory, then it's a collector item. A friend of mine has one, I drove it in the parade once. I understand someone is making a new version of that style, for organic vegetable farming.

Actually a lot of vegetable farms used G's back in the 50's and 60's.Hanover County VA had a whole lot of them I knew a farm that had close to 20 at one time.Tuff Bilt sort of a G clone
is now built in Alabama.I have a Hines H-1600 about the same as a G but much improved with dual hydraulics, hydro drive, easy to get on and off, more power, have 3 less then 500 built.

When I was in high school, the farm I worked on had one with a two row corn planter under the middle of it. You could watch each seed drop. They planted a lot of acres with it, running it around the clock until they were finished. They also had a belly mounted blade for it, like a miniature motor grader. It was great for scraping the lot off around the silos.

That's the first one I've ever seen with a loader.

West central ohio. I've seen three sell this summer. The last was restored, new rubber, paint and correct decals.Estate sale at Greenville ohio sold for 1900. I bought a nice original last fall for 1200 at an auction. It had the 500 dollar front weight and cultivators. There was an estate auction last year that had 8. The highest brought 1800.

Looks like something from a sci-fi movie, see that coming thru the wood's
would scare the crap out of me. FredWi

Local Allis dealer had one with loader. Think they plowed a lot of snow on sidewalks with it.

Saw one two weeks ago at Rice County Steam and Gas show that was real short wheel base with a loader, sign said it was for unloading coal cars.

I wish there were some around here for the price you mentioned. Even though not a real tractor they seem like they would be handy cultivating sweet corn and other stuff. But I guess they would be seeing that's what they were made for ! Fella about a mile from here is an AC collector and has one he brings out for parades and such !
