Auction reminder

Some interesting goodies. The 720 baler, 76 drill, and the cultivators interest me as well as some of the parts and accessories. Dad had a 4 row cultivator that came new with the 88 and was always shed kept and looked nice. A guy from town bought them around 1975 to put on a 70. I would not finding a replacement.

(quoted from post at 09:18:33 09/14/18) If you start driving now,you might get here just in time. LOL

Now, now, be nice......maybe you should buy it for him and deliver it for mocking him......

Sadly, I am going to have to sit this one out. Patience is not a virtue for me when it comes to farm equipment but for right now that is just the way it has to be. Hopefully, I will be around for quite a number of years to enjoy collecting when I am older. My worry is a lot of this stuff will flat out be gone when I can afford it. I'd be more worried if I had somebody waiting in the wings to pick up where I leave off but I think a lot of it will go for scrap so maybe somebody with a successor might be a better place for it. I am happy to know that a couple young fellows I know will most likely pick up any tractors I might have when I am no longer here.

I hear you there. There's alot of other things I need to spend money on and a divorce because of buying another tractor is definitely not one of them. I don't think either of my stepson's will want anything to do with my tractors or farming. Maybe it will be a good auction around here someday! Way into the future I hope...

I have about a hundred things I want to accomplish tomorrow. One of those is going to a farm auction about 20 miles from me in the morning. There is one thing I am interested in so we will see if it's worth it or not. If not it will be on to the next thing on the list.
