Does anybody know if the super track 3O3 that tractor supply sells is it the same ias AW 46 hydraulic fluid? will it work as a substitute. will be using in a hydraulic system on a skid steer and I log splitter and a farmhand f11 loader.

303 is a hydraulic oil, plus has additives to help protect wet brakes and gears in transmissions of tractors where the hydraulic tank is also the transmission case . Should work fine

303 is a lesser quality fluid, it's just a real old spec'd fluid, AW fluids have better detergents and additives and are considered "premium". As far as viscosity, 303 and AW-46 are both equivalent to approx SAE 20. For your applications I don't think you need the AW fluids, 303 is fine.

If you want TW46, TSC sells that too.......I saw 5 gallon buckets of it this month in a local store. Google 46 and 303. Read the specs. Do they apply to you? I use the 303 oil in my '60's vintage Fords and in seeing the 46 wondered what it was so I googled it and got my answer.

Am I crazy or was this same thread started yesterday morning? I was pretty sure a number of us answered it then too?
