Need helping finding Grandpas tractor JD4320 serial# 24974

Any help would be appreciated....stumbled upon some old paperwork from my grandpa and on March 11 1972 he bought a 4320 from Roberts farm equipment in Lebanon IN. Owner was Edward Bernhardt and lived in and around eagle creek (Indianapolis) He ordered the tractor without a loader but have another bit a papers that says he bought a 158 loader in 1976 that I believe would have been on the tractor. Any help would be appreciated! He sold out in 1986/1987 and sold all his equipment via local paper so maybe it didn't go far.....thank you! my email is [email protected] or phone number is 317-414-6234
 
Sometimes if you run the proper serial #, the build sheet will come up and will give addresses if kept up. But the serial # provided is not complete
 
Unfortunately I think he ran into the subject limit, and it cut off a few numbers?

Best to put the important part of a topic in the body of the message, as well.

I have the order form from Roberts farm equipment and this was the serial # on the paperwork...and also a few times when it was in for service. It very well could be a partial number but if someone has the tractor with that sequence of numbers it would be a good chance its the one. They ran the number in their computer and it still shows Edward Bernhardt as the owner of the tractor. So no help from JD dealer. Serial number is listed as the following.....24974.....24974R.....and one paper has T613R-024 I have no idea why 3 different ones

T613R means:

T= Basic Tractor

6 = 4320 Series

1 = "Row Crop"

3 = "Diesel"

R = "Synchro Range"


024974 = serial number

Tractor was made two years, 1971, and 1972.

1971 production started with the serial number 6000.

1972 production started with the serial number 17031, and I don't know the number of the last one made.
