Back To Harvest

Wheat got down to 15.9 this afternoon so I went ahead and harvested all I could til it got so wet by 10:30 I quit before something broke. The
old rotor was complaining, back feeding, knife not clearing. The straw was almost dripping water. Only about a truck load left in that field.
Then canola. Rain in the forecast.
So heres the latest video of me driving through the stubble in the Merc and later feeding the cattle a pail of oat chop.

1680 or 88? Looks like mine... few battle scars and missing panels lol.
Did one 3 ton load of straight cut canola last night after replacing broken chaffer bolt. It got tough pretty quick. Raining a little this morning. We need the rain here.....just not right now! Lets hope for some better weather next week.

Great video's Rusty. I watched all three on your hydro repair and book marked them. Hopefully I don't have to watch them again because I'm in that same situation (4100 hours on my 1680). Looks like we use the same Case dealer. Good luck with your harvest.
