First Tractor

Hey all. Just seeking some general info on my tractor. Picking it up in a few days. Its a 1996 Kubota L3600. 1800hrs. One owner. With loader and backhoe. Seems like it was lightly used. Guy said he only used it to mostly mow a field. Got it for 9500.00 which I feel is a decent deal. When I pick it up I want to go over it again so any info on some specific stuff to look at would be helpful. All I can see it needs is front tires, rear backhoe seat and 1 hydraulic hose is starting to dry out. Also any tips tricks places to buy parts advice or info on this machine would Also help. This is my first tractor but Ive been around machinery for a long time. Thanks in advance.

unless your going to plow snow I would not worry about tires those have a lot of life in them if your just hobby farming also if your front seat will fit on the hoe then put your new seat where you will spend most of your time just my 2 cents

(quoted from post at 17:23:44 09/13/18) Mowing with a backhoe mounted?
That was my reaction also. I had a 3-pt backhoe for my JD 4010 and it was fairly easy to get off. This one looks quite a bit more complicated/time consuming.

Looks like it has done its share of work over the years. However, everything "appears" to be in the right place, so sounds like a decent price from where I sit.

Only thing is, it's too new. Gonna have to throw that'n back and get one even older! *lol*

It takes me about 3 minutes to get my hoe off of my MX4800 Kubota it is sub frame mounted pull the pins and use the hoe to push it up out of the cradle disconnect the hyd line. It takes me about 10 minutes to put the 3 point arms back on

Good info. I will experiment with mine. I wont need many other attachments

28 years KUBOTA experience and too much to type here buy if you will open you e mail or send me a phone number I can give you a lot off help. Several things you need to know about the hoe use and mounting and also how to get to the skid steer quick attach on the loader bucket.

Your best source of info will be an owners manual. If you did not get one with the purchase go to a Kubota dealer and get some ordered.
