Does anybody know if the super track 3O3 that tractor supply sells is it the same ias AW 46 hydraulic fluid? will it work as a substitute. will be using in a hydraulic system on a skid steer and I log splitter and a farmhand f11 loader.
 
I don't believe it's the same, but can't say it won't work. But they also sell ISO 46 fluid.

Okay, tried over and over to include a link, but this site apparently won't allow it. But it's the Traveler brand.
 
Log splitter and loader require very minimal hydraulic oil and almost anything will work.

Newer skid loaders can require AW or antiwear additives that will NOT WORK in tractors with wet brakes and clutches... But otherwise is a heavy duty oil in all other aspects.

SO... if the oil meets the spec's for your skid loader, you can usually use it in your splitter and loader.

303 oil will work in splitters, loaders, and tractors with wet brakes and clutches and was an improvement of the original "type A hydraulic" oil as it had much better viscosity properties than the crude 20wt oil of the 1950s. It does not meet specs of the newer hydro shift tractors starting to appear after 1975 requiring a more robust oil package.

Thank you. Sure enough, I checked in classic view and there are all the responses I made that didn't show up before. I wondered why it said the thread had 5 responses but I could only see 2.
