Hello all! I just wanted to put a link up here to part one of my video series on my day trip to Rollag. This was my first time back in 20 years, and I was suffering from a pretty bad poison ivy rash. I got as much as I could get in the time I was there, so I hope you all enjoy. For all those who missed it - put this show on your bucket list, it is absolutely HUGE, and next year they are featuring JI Case, where I believe the Anderson Case 150 steamer will be on display. I will be heading to Andover, SD to witness and film the unveil of that on Friday as well - so stay tuned for that as well. Until then, Enjoy the video, stay tuned for part two that is currently being edited, and I must say I took WAY too many pictures to post. Maybe that will be a part 3 slideshow on my YouTube channel.

Hope you all enjoy!

You may already know so if you do forgive my intrusion. The triple 830 John Deeres and the 830 with D and A engines added are all owned by Don Dufner of Buxton, ND. At least he built them. He may not own them any more. These have been featurd in 2 Cylinder Magazine over the years. Mr Dufner farms east of Buxton in the Red River Valley. I visited his farm and shop many years ago. It is reported that he owns over 500 John Deere two cylinder tractors and many of them are dedicated to an implement to save time of hitching and unhitching.

(quoted from post at 17:33:50 09/03/18) Wow!

They take their shows serious!

My bucket list just got longer!

Thanks!

Yea teh Rollag show is something else. There is so much to see and do I doubt that a guy could do it all in 3 days. Bout 80 miles from me.

I too am going to SD next weekend to see that steamer!

Wasn't any way we could make it to Rollag this year, but hoping to make it to Strathcona next weekend. Is a small show in a tiny town, but not too far away from us.

I?ve wondered about attending this show as well, we like to take our motor home and camp at some of these shows like Prairie Village Madison SD. How is Rollag to visit in an RV?

thanks. Spent a full day at Rollag and you had things on the Video that I missed in spite of walking about 4 miles while at the show on Sunday. Wonderful show including a lot of things for my wife. Highly recommend Rollag

You're very welcome. I tried to capture as much as I could - you really need multiple days to see everything and take it all in, but I only had one day so I made the best of it.

The 830 pulled the D and pulled a 96 0r 106 John Deere combine. The D didn't have enough power to run the combine so he added the A engine sideways to make it work. Don is quit an engineer. Been there a few times and is always a pleasure to visit with. Gordy in Mn

I was really intrigued by that setup. He definitely has created some one of a kind, real engineered pieces of equipment. I believe, If I am correct, his triple D setup has a single in front, and two side by side behind, correct? I am trying to remember if I saw that back in around 2000 at Rollag as well.

I did some Googling and found this:

Hm. I wonder where I saw the triple D's that were on in front and two behind? I could have swore it was in Rollag in either 1998 or 2000. It as an impressive
unit - saw it drive in the daily parade.
