Auger swing 1420 combine.

I have a 1420 IH. The auger swing is slow. I’m wondering if the steering hand pump is the problem? In the service manual. The flow dividers. Give steering priority over auger swing and reel lift. As of now mine is working when I manipulate the steering wheel. There is an Orifice before the hand pump. To restict flow to steering hand pump. I’m wondering if the orifice. Or hand pump. Is worn.

I would look first at the priority valve, If it is sticking, it could limit pressure/volume to the swing. The primary pressure
regulator could also be sticking partially open dropping pressure such that the priority valve and steering is using up 90%. Jim
