Well, almost new anyway. Its a 2017 and has 62,000 miles. It is the newest truck in the fleet. Just working on getting it set up today. Going to be nice to have air conditioning. Lol

It appears you are working for Tom Kraemer. We know him through my sons wrestling when he was in HS. He is a nice guy and solid business man. Nice truck, I have nothing bad to say about Mack trucks. How does it drive compared to the """volvo"""? Jim

Lol,don't know yet, I only drove it from the shop to the hydraulic store to get hoses put on so far. Seems nice tho. Same trany my Volvo had I think.

Never been a truck driver, but about 50 years ago I heard a Mack funny.
Speed Kills, drive a Mack and you'll live forever.............

Those TKI guys sure know how to tear their hoods up. I?ve been trying to keep the western boys busy with blue boxes this summer.

Dont knock Macks! I have an R model and I can go place the other semis won't. I have crossed the scales over 100,000 pounds of corn and the old dog just grunts along. The darn internationals get stuck on wet grass.

Keep an eye on the expansion tank and the fittings going into it.

Like a lot of comments relating to manufacturing "brands", I would guess that most here that make negative commnets Macks have never really had any first hand experience with them. Just trendy to be critical I think.

I drive Macks. Great trucks. Very quiet and very durable. When my son had a gravel semi, the local gravel hauler said that Macks were the only thing that could stand up to the abuse. I also drive a Freightliner and I really like it to.

One guy I knew that hauled pulpwood and logs in North East Minn. said he had four bad years in his life, two years in the Army and two years with a Mack truck. I always get a chuckle out of his statement which he made about 40 years ago.

Well, they say that a Mack truck will wear out half a dozen drivers before you wear out the truck.
My experience with them was that the seating areas was too small. Steering was too limited. Rode like a forklift. Also, that bulldog on the hood was definitely female since there were no balls any where under that dog.

Jon yours looks good. Now if it will run like it should and not like a dog.
As for a Mack they are a good truck as long as I don't have to own or drive. I've had 4 trucks over the last 20 years. All but 1 was used. 1 Pete used still have it. With over a million miles on. 1 Volvo after having it with the electrical problems in the headlights it has been to the truck cemetery for a number of years now. 1 Mack spent more time in the hospital than on the road. 1 New Pete I looked at all of them including a Mack when I bought the new truck. Mack offered less engine, torque, horse power, for more money along with Volvo,Navistar and Western Star. The last time I looked at a used Kenworth the dealer was supposed to get back with me. That was about 20 years ago. I figured if it took that long for that I didn't want one. I also walked into a KW dealer to ask about one of their used ones at a different dealer nobody would even acknowledge I was there so walked back out and never went back. That is my reason for Pete's and no Dogs. Let them set on the porch and whine.
