I wonder if Brazil has a EPA or some such?

Reading those Roundup posts got me thinking. Who is going to regulate what chemicals are used elsewhere?

Probably the same people who regulate whether or not the worker washes his hands in a 3rd world country after taking a crap in the field while picking your lettuce

Dairy cows get measles from the Mexicans crapping in the corral back in the early days . Do you think they?ve stopped pooping in the 3rd world countries ?

There used to be a show on RFD in the afternoon from Brazil. Brazil Ag Report or some such thing. Unless it was a whole bunch of propaganda for the masses, their gubmint puts the environmentalist wackos here to shame.

So why is that? who wants that? Why would any citizen want that? Why would the media or the government want that? It is time to be realistic about your unfounded accusations. Time to quit acting like a victim and start being a realistic and educated and contributing citizen. Just silly conspirasy crap> Idea: move your focus to something really important...like getting a new tattoo.

Right..... and the people in the big cities know as much about where the milk they drink comes from as the wife in a rural Indiana town of 1000 as a wife that lives in city of 3 million. Neither one has ever been on a diary farm. My pal that lives on and farms 4000 acres of prime Iowa corn and bean ground has never touched a dairy cow. His milk comes from a jug, bought at Walmart. You need to get realistic about how people think and what they know....or care about. The rural guy in Kentucky has no idea where wheat comes from, he buys it as bread and crackers at the grocery store. Carrots? A they come in a package..same package in California, Iowa or New York City.

I take it you are not involved in manufacturing any kind of product. Most of the regulations are obviously ridicules. They won't even let go of global warming after the scientist agreed it was bunk. We are being manipulated.

As far as the tattoo,I was brought up to believe only the lowest class person got a tattoo. I have none.

I have been involved and earned my living selling manufactured products all my life. Responsible manufacturers want to produce and sell reliable and safe products to their customers. The crooked ones (and there are many that put making money ahead of safety) need regulations to keep them honest. We have referees at ballgames because players will not call fouls and infractions on themselves.

No they do not, I know back in the 90's chemicals that were banned from tobacco use here in the states were still in use in South America. So as fewer people raise tobacco here guess where that tobacco comes from, countries that do not regulate hazardous chemicals.

Or hacking a wad of TB laden phlegm onto your greens you get in that salad.

(quoted from post at 22:29:46 08/16/18) That's the whole point of all the regulations so work will leave the country.

That's just about the dumbest thing I've seen on the internet.

It may not be the cause, but it is an effect.

I don't think any of the rest of the world does what the USA does.
Here at work we can still sell older type engines in new machines as long as they go outside the USA.
