Got a lucky day off. Wanting to work on the MM r. Want to change the oil. Does anyone know if I can get a filter at Napa or O'Reilly's? Thanks!

I salvaged a 1999 NAPA master catalog when the newer one came out. it shows the R takes a 1108 NAPA oil filter.

found the catalog, right where I put it. the 600 gas should take a 1004 cartridge filter. all different dimensions than the MM filter.

I know you love posting here, but you probably need to be asking on the MM website. For a while at least, those NAPA 1108 filters were unavailable.
I am thinking Welters Farm Supply in Verona MO has a filter that will work. 417-498-6496 Also, MMDel on the MM forum probably has them or can get them.
There was also an adapter that would allow you to use a Chevrolet oil filter in place of the MM canister. You can probably find them on Ebay. The only thing to be aware of is to use a filter without the drain-back valve, the oil goes through it the opposite way.

Thanks. Local Napa could order em from somewhere. Take a couple days,and "it may be right one". I will contact Welters tomorrow.
