BIG RUH

14 year old teenager is running for a political office in Vermont. I thought that you had to be at least 18 to do this. She can't vote or drink, but
she can run for political office

I would not think that is legal but now days with some of what is going on who knows

The Vermont Constitution doesn't have an age requirement for people seeking the state's highest office beyond having lived in the state for four years before the election.

(quoted from post at 16:04:20 08/14/18) Would you really want a millennial in your government? They wouldn't stop texting long enough to find out what is going on.

How would having a millennial be worse than a senile old baby boomer? Frankly they should have an age LIMIT on running. 65 seems like a good number...

Generally speaking you can RUN for office even if you can't SERVE. Nothing to prevent a 14 year old from running for POTUS, but should he be elected he couldn't serve.

Yeah, that would be a terrible mess!!!! Oh, wait... is texting much different than tweeting? Just kidding, LOL.
