Here in B.C. there are a whack of forest fires happening - somewhere around 500. The smoke pretty much covers the whole joint. My view is down to the bottom of my property, can't see the ocean (600M away nor Texada Island 2 Kilometers away), also it smells like smoke and my nose has required a bunch of 'Kleenex' today - SEND RAIN ! !

In the interior of B.C.the smoke is a level 10. the highest on the chart. It's really hard to get excited about working out in it.

I really hope all of you out west get some rain soon.
We have had haze here in St Louis for a couple days now.

The smoke is following the jet stream right to us and further south/east.

Amazing it travels that far. Just confirms how bad it is there.

Yea, was miserable down here in south central Minnesota on Friday and Saturday, made the eyes water, we are in a hot and very humid spell here, so hard to catch your breath as it is, the smoke kinda had a lot of us just sit for the afternoons.....

It's very smoky here in Colorado today. There were fires here too this summer. Auctually for the last several summers. This many fires can't be accidental. Some group is setting them maybe trying to cause global warming so they can steal our money. I think I heard that there were seven fires already this summer. They closed the forests to logging, they closed a lot of logging roads so now the fire trucks can't get in. A logging road is an excellent place to stop a fire from jumping the road. So now the trees that could have been used to build houses are burnt up. The lefties are insane. A tree is a wonderful thing but it doesn't have a soul and it's not a thing to be worshipped. It's just a plant that God gave us to use and take care of, but what we are doing now is just nuts!

We had pretty much escaped the smoke in SW Washington until yesterday, when it moved in from all around us. Probably reduced the temp by 5-10 degrees, which was welcome, as it has been in the 90's most days. No rain in the forecast for at least the next week.

Our oldest boy lives in Grand Junction, says he sees a couple acre burns all along the roads from cigaret butts thrown from cars then put out by fire fighters. They had a good sized fire with evacuations by their house was caused by a spark from a lawn mower. Also said they had a dry storm, lightning, no rain, and 15 fires started from lightning strikes but were contained by firefighters.
