Was just informed my mother passed. They think she died last night. my sister found her late this afternoon/early this evening.84 years old. She raised 4 pretty darn good kids.

So sorry for your loss. It's never easy and you never get over it, but in time the pain does subside. I lost both of my parents when they were in their early 70s & I still riminess from time to time. Still feel close to them and am so grateful for all they taught me.

Sorry to hear that. WE know where she s at now there is no suffering or pain. All joy and happiness. Richard

My condolences. Sorry to hear it.

I remember the day my mother passed away. She was on her death bed in extended care at the hospital. My wife was with her, but there was nothing I could do but go to work at the insurance company where I worked. The entire company knew the situation.

About 2pm, the receptionist paged me, "Gene, your wife's on the phone. It's urgent!"

Right then the whole company knew what had happened.

It was ironic that I was with my father-in-law when he died and my wife was with my mother.

Very sorry to read this, prayers for you all,
It?s something we all shall go through,
But it doesn?t lessen the pain

My Condolences, I got one of those three years ago. One day brother stopped to visit mom found her milling around in the kitchen. So they go sit down to visit, after a few minutes she feels an abdominal pain and says I feel like I could just faint. She faints and that's about it never came back, died in her own home at 88 years old. That nursing home insurance she paid for all those years worked, she never spent a night in the nursing home. Not a bad way to go...

My Condolences also I lost my mom 5 years ago to a massive stroke at 95 years old.She had dementia very bad for the last year and a half.

Sorry for your loss Steve. You still have all the memories. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family - Bob

I am so sorry for your loss. Lost my 88 year old mother in June and there is not a day I don't try and pick up the phone to call her or drive by her house to check on her. Still cant believe she is gone. Hold onto all the good memories. A great generation of people.

Sorry to hear you lost your mom. I got a call like that once. It was Gramma. She called to tell our family grandpa passed. I was about 14 and shocked. Just handed the phone to ma. Those calls are the worst ! Remember and think of her often !

Sorry for your loss.

My dad passed 42 years ago in his 50's, mom raised my 4 younger brothers and sisters by herself, will be 88 next month, still going strong but slowing down a little.
