Another one in the books. Any points of interest that stood out? Friends of mine brought a reconditioned JD A with stamped steel wheels on Firestone rubber. Knowing the story behind it they did a lot of work on it. Bunch of AO and BO tractors down in the back corner. Couple of nice Cockshutt's. Nice MH 101 Senior. A pat on the back to all those who contributed and hoping for a good event next year.

I didn't go this year. I went last year, and after two hours on my bad hip, wasn't sure I was going to make it back to my vehicle. (I got a new hip Dec. 18)

I was waiting for a friend to help me Thur. He was going to the Farm Show that morning, so I went along. I was glad in that I learned something! I saw where there is now a ball/socket type hitch instead of the big flat plate with a hole in it.

Now I'm good for several years on the Farm Show. Maybe I won't be so busy next year and can enjoy the "Steam" show again.

I'm over age 50 and went to the show with my friend who is a similar age. He has ankle issues and is tougher for him to walk much. We took several breaks to keep him fresh. I would like to do a golf cart but they are pricey just to use one day a year. Oh well, we will take it one year at a time.

Probably the best weather I can ever remember having up there, at least the day we went (Friday). Was glad to see the guy with the Massey Harris's had several tractors there this year. He sold off his triples a couple of years ago and I thought he was giving up. But as you said, he had a nice senior and some other real nice tractors there this time.

And the huge flywheel they are working on just to north of the steam engine building is really impressive. Wonder what their ultimate plans are for that?
