I am glad the your experience has been positive so far. Just be prepared because these forums attracts pretty much the same full spectrum as our general society.

Now that the "site cops" have put their foot down about kicking you off if you make an arse out of yourself, things are mostly decent! Gotta remember this
is the most independent bunch of folks you probably will ever encounter and as such they do and say what they want regardless of what others think.

I enjoy this forum as much as most others I think, and there's a ton of helpful knowledge here that you won't find elsewhere.
It is sometimes criticized for getting off topic too often but I think it would be pretty boring without those posts. But I
must say that it is the one forum (of about 3-4 others on various topics) that I visit where the members flame others with
name-calling and put downs, especially if the other guy looks,thinks, or votes differently ....... or lives in California.
